Ellie-may Pike
I’m Ellie, co-founder of this special venture that grew out of a profound love for animals and the natural world.
My journey began in the world of art and design, with a background in fashion design developed during my time studying in London. But everything changed after a summer spent on our family farm. I fell in love with the animals and experienced first hand the incredible impact they can have on our mental health and wellbeing. Being outdoors, surrounded by nature and our wonderful rescue animals, inspired a life-changing decision to pursue a new path.
Together with my sister, I co-founded Fur & Fields Farm to make the therapeutic benefits of animals accessible to our community. Drawing on my creative background, I bring an artistic and imaginative approach to our services, incorporating art and nature into animal-assisted interventions. This provides an alternative way for individuals to connect with animals, find healing, and nurture their wellbeing.
At Fur & Fields Farm, we’re passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment where everyone can feel the joy of being surrounded by animals and nature. Whether you’re looking for therapeutic support or a unique animal experience, we’re here to share the magic of Fur & Fields with you.

Francesca Pike
I’m Fran, co-founder of this therapeutic haven nestled in the countryside, where animals play a central role in fostering positive change for people of all ages and backgrounds.
With a background in social work and applied social sciences, I bring years of experience working with children, young people, and families. I’ve worked in diverse settings, including CAMHS, domestic abuse support services, secondary schools delivering relationship education, and with looked-after children and young people. Through these roles, I witnessed the profound impact of holistic, nurturing environments on emotional health and personal growth.
Seven years ago, my journey took an inspiring turn when I moved to a farm and discovered a deep passion for animals. Experiencing firsthand the therapeutic benefits of spending time with animals sparked a vision: to make this unique experience accessible to our community. Together with my sister, we turned this dream into Fur & Fields Farm, where we offer animal-assisted interventions and immersive animal experiences designed to support mental health, build resilience, and provide moments of joy. I am currently in the process of completing an Equine Assisted Facilitator course to obtain status through a recognised qualification.
Whether you’re seeking a calming space for therapeutic growth or a hands-on opportunity to engage with animals, Fur & Fields Farm is here to provide a safe, supportive environment where everyone is welcome.
